"The staff were excellent especially Alistair who is very hospitable and informative of the history of the hotel and it's surroundings. All the staff were polite and accommodating and the breakfast was amazing "
"I thought I saw 3 beds for my family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids when I booked, surprisingly 4 met beds. I requested for an hour extended stay, when I ask for how much I should pay, they said I don’t need to pay."
"We had a lovely stay, easy to find with nice touches of bread jam cereal and eggs.
Would like a bedside lamp to be able to read and a small hoover or broom as we were staying a week .but apart from that couldn’t fault it at all, lovely to meet the owners who were helpful and friendly .
Huge comfy bed and nice to be able to do the washing as the weather wasn’t good "

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Queens Head Hotel! From the moment we stepped into the pub to the moment we checked out, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive — they truly made us feel at home. The location is spot-on, right on the high street with loads of bars, restaurants, and shops just steps away.
Even though the hotel is connected to a lively pub, they close the back door after 9pm, so it’s perfectly peaceful in the rooms behind. We slept like babies! And the breakfast? Top-notch — delicious and satisfying.
If you’re looking for a warm, well-located place with fantastic service, I’d wholeheartedly recommend The Queens Head Hotel. Five stars all the way! 🌟"
"Well presented within walking distance of town centre, pub's and restaurants. Anne/Dave 😆(building manager) was lovely, she worked hard to keep the place so clean and nothing was a problem if you asked 😉 stairs were challenging to the top floor but we managed and wi-fi was a bit sketchy (none at all in our room) hopefully it will be sorted by the owner. All in all a lovely place to stay ♥️"
