"I recently stayed at this hotel with my friend and had a wonderful experience. All of the staff were incredibly warm, patient, and welcoming throughout our stay. "Solid hotel in an unbeatable location, but it could use some TLC. The location is genuinely fantastic — you really can’t do better for getting around and being close to everything you’d want to see and do. That alone is a strong reason to consider staying here. The staff deserve real credit. Check-in was quick and friendly, check-out was just as smooth, and everyone we interacted with was helpful and professional. It’s clear the team takes their jobs seriously. The room itself was clean, which is the most important thing. However, the property overall is looking a little worn and tired. Nothing falling apart, but you can tell it’s due for some refurbishment — carpets, furnishings, and common areas all could use refreshing. The one significant issue was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times to prevent it from spreading into the rest of the room. For a hotel at this price point, that’s something management really needs to address. Overall: a great location and great staff held this stay together, but the tired property and especially the bathroom smell mean I’d hesitate to return until some improvements are made."
