"Our second time staying here and it’s always so beautiful. We love the nature, heated outdoor pools for our kiddos, complimentary yoga classes and kayaking . Just beautiful property! Only thing they didn’t have for both days we stayed was the complimentary coffee station at the lodge . They kept saying we have complimentary coffee in our rooms . "

"We booked this place as a homebase to explore Bodega Bay, Bodega, and Occidental for a Hitchcock lover's birthday weekend. The property was easy to find and absolutely charming! It had everything we needed for two couples and a small pup to enjoy for the weekend. Walking down to the foggy marina or along the road in the morning was magical and we loved the fenced in area for the dog to hang off leash. The smell of eucalyptus greets you when you walk out and there's a lovely view of the harbor. "
"It was a great stay. The only issues that my room was found unlocked. There was an empty water bottle next to the bed and used soap from prior guest in restroom. The place looked exceptionally clean except for these minor things. Love the location and how quiet the area was. "

"I left it a surprise for both my young-adult kids where we were heading after our last five years staying in Monte Rio for our getaway, and their excitement as we approached and entered the home was so gratifying. It is very tastefully designed and clearly a well-loved home, not just a revenue stream. We saw a fox, a deer with her spotted fawns, and so many birds. It was just wonderful to stay there and to be able to walk out the back of the property along the marina and onto the dunes. Very well-equipped kitchen as well and apparent environmental awareness based in part, evidently, on research by one of the hosts.Favorite aspect: no screens."
