"We had a very nice stay at Lodge at Bodega Bay. The room we booked was not available on our date due to construction but guest services contacted me ahead of time and made accommodations that we were happy with and included an extra welcome gift. The premises is beautiful and we enjoyed the bocce ball court and the Drake's Restaurant. A very nice place for a special celebration getaway!"

"We had a very pleasant stay. The host was friendly, and made sure we had information on places to eat, trail walk and dog friendly beaches. The room was very clean and we had all we needed. There was even a fenced in front yard for the dog. So nice. I would stay there again in a heart beat. Beaches are very close by. "

"Cute little spot, and well appointed. No table/chairs out front as depicted for wine/cheese, but there was one (though with cobwebs) on the upper deck. Unfortunately the narrow cobblestone driveway was difficult to get in/out of safely (right on the highway with limited visibility). Also no local management to assist with needs (like missing ice cube trays), though the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Strong chemical smell made this place undesirable for my husband, but open windows and a breeze made it much better by day 2. Comfy beds and well set up for cooking. Hot tub a plus. "

"A perfect place for a getaway in Bodega Bay. The sunroom and view were the best part, I counted 16 herons, a few egrets and one otter outside our window the morning we left. "

"We love, love, loved everything about this place … from the moment you walk in, it gives “Welcome”.We were especially taken with the thoughtful design that went into creating the space. From the well-appointed kitchen with modern appliances, to the comfortable memory foam mattress, to the modern bathrooms with comfort showers, and heated toilet with a bidet, to (my favorite) the remote-controlled Della overhead wall space heaters located in each room. This cozy little spot is all about comfort and tasteful simplicity.There are restaurants conveniently scattered all around, and a general store, only about a stone’s throw away, is nicely appointed with all of the things, including a nice wine selection.We were fortunate enough to have nice weather, and took full advantage of sitting outside on the veranda, collecting memories. One of us, a bird watching enthusiast, was in her glory. Identifying all manor of species and sharing stories of their origins.This was a much needed opportunity for respite, at an amazing getaway, in a sweet little thoughtfully designed space above the bay.
