"The property was great. So quiet and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. Great location for short trips to nearby places and also worth taking a longer drive to Avenue of the Giants. House was well furnished and equipped and full of information for local places to visit. Hosts provided great communication ahead of our stay with reminders while we were there. If we are ever so fortunate to return to the Russian River Valley, we will definitely book this property again."

"We loved the home in the woods. Although it rained all three days of our early March visit, the home was clean, spacious and cozily warm. We enjoyed the gas fire place and had fun playing games on the big dining room table. The house was a short drive to town where we found excellent restaurants and interesting shops for browsing. We'd like to return in the summer to lounge on the decks and walk in the woods."

"We had a great time in Monte Rio. This house is in a great location, is well appointed and very comfortable. We loved that it had a sauna and hot tub. We also loved the backyard; very private and nicely landscaped. I highly recommend it!"

"My family enjoyed the property as it was big enough for everyone and pet friendly. We stayed during the rainy months and enjoyed playing games and cuddling up near the fire place. I strongly caution the very steep driveway. If you have a four wheel drive, that is preferred especially if it is wet out. Otherwise good accommodations."

"Very well appointed, well equipped restored cabin with bucolic views of acres of vineyards. It is located in a one lane road that could frighten some off. It’s a short ride into Healdsburg and surrounding attractions. The owners are friendly and hands on and responded to every need promptly. We loved this spot and would do it all over again."

"Property was on the Russian River and it was a bit cold during our stay to enjoy the deck and outdoor space, but a comfortable home that was close to coast and hiking for day trips. I really enjoyed the timely text reminders and check-in/ out. This feature made it easy to keep track of the guest details."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Bonne Chere! The house is so comfortable, you immediately feel right at home. The outside is as enjoyable as the inside. It is beautifully landscaped, and the hot tub was a god send after a tough hike at Amstrong Woods State Park. We would love to come back and enjoy another stay sometime."

"The house is very nice but located on a very narrow street with difficult parking. We had two larger cars. Parking is a narrow platform and turning radius was a challenge to say the least. The property description should include this information. We would not have stayed here if we had known. Nothing wrong with the house, just would have appreciated knowing about the parking challenge in advance since we had two vans. Also, the beds were a bit too soft."

"I felt a fairy would pop out of the woods. The place is as quiet and quaint as you could ask. Overwhelmingly warm and full of charm. The place has peace and a personality that is all its own. We had many adventures in the area, but we always looked forward to settling down in the hot tub, relaxing by the stove, and having a peaceful night's sleep. This is a one-in-a-million location. We will always have the fondest of memories of 66."

"The creekside property was exactly as expected. Wanted to get out of the city for my pup that’s extremely afraid of fireworks for new years. What a quiet and peaceful retreat! Photos represented the property well and access was easy. A lovely getaway from the city for a few days. Very close to the coast with lots of dog friendly beaches. Hope to be back soon!"

"This river side home was perfect for a few rainy days away during the holiday break with the family. It would be great during summer with it being right across the street from the Russian River. Our teens loved hanging out in the basement game room. Beds were comfortable and the wood for the stove was well stocked (once we found the kindling). Only small complaint were that the appliances are a little outdated but really we had everything we needed."

"The house was nice in a beautiful location with lots of green. The tea house that was separate from the main house seemed to have some leaks or water coming into the walls. It was very musty and moldy smelling. We opened the windows and aired out the space to make it bearable, but it was still noticeable. Otherwise, the place was fine."
