Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Great resort. We upgraded once there to the club level which is adults only. We liked the food very much, amenities were nice and the employees are super friendly, specially the bartenders at club C pool bar: Anyelina, Marilania, Maxima, Rosa & Waillon. At Club level we got Victor, our own butler and he was also very helpful. Another thing I was very grateful for was this hotel cleans the seaweed from the beach several times a day. We will definitely come back next year with the rest of our family."

"I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and would not recommend it, especially for families with young children. From the start, our room was far from the main areas (about a 15-minute walk to the beach, pool, and reception), which made everything very inconvenient. The room itself was in poor condition and had a strong musty smell. The towels also smelled damp and unclean. We even found a dead cockroach on the floor upon arrival. I immediately requested a closer room because I was traveling with a small child, but staff were unhelpful and dismissive, often just handing me keys and telling me to go look at rooms myself. Many rooms were worse, with broken shower heads, broken bathroom glass, and other maintenance issues. There were no buggies or transport around the resort, making it extremely difficult to move around, especially in the heat. Basic tasks like changing my child’s diaper required long walks back to the room. Staff were often rude, unhelpful, and gave attitude when asked for assistance. After three days and multiple complaints, and only after my husband intervened, we were finally moved to a closer building. This happened on my son’s 5th birthday, which was very upsetting as most of the day was spent packing and moving rooms with no help provided. Even in the new room, issues continued, including a clogged shower drain, non-working phone, and minibar items that were never replaced. Communication was also a major issue as no staff spoke english."

"Please be aware not to buy the tours in the hotel, they will scam you. Also the transport provided by the hotel is a problem. Be carefull to leave the bags to the hotel staff, mine were given to another guest when leaving the hotel, I have to go to the airport to recover them. The hotel not even say sorry because they lost my bags, worse experience I have ever had in a hotel. Food is fine."

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our butler Rodney was amazing, he helped us with all of our wishes. The food could’ve been better. The were lot of options but nothing was that tasty to be honest. The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the drinks are good. If you don’t mind the food being mid, you’ll have a good time."
