"Was a nice place, food was good. Little disappointed that breakfast didn't start till 8 at the weekend and we had to leave half 7.. so paid for breakfast we couldn't eat."

"We stayed 3 nights at the Ethorpe. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to catch local buses to locations we wished to visit and also using the local buses to travel to Heathrow via routes 106 and 102 for 10 UK pounds! A & J, Canada."

"The restaurant and garden are nice and the service was good. Good selection on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan. The food was very good. Unfortunately the accommodation is extremely tired and is in desperate need of updating / painting. I have been generous with 3 stars as we ate in the restaurant both in the evening and morning. If you are looking for a place to eat which is dog friendly this is perfect."
