"Its a lovely old coaching inn and although decor a bit tired in places, and some modernisation would be welcome in the bathroom in particular it is still beautifully reminiscent of an old inn with lovely old furniture. Rooms could also benefit from at least 1 USB port cos i can't be the only person to forget a plug for my charger cable 🙃 though the people are so helpful they could have lent me one 😀 We were there for a party in the lovely back room, I would definitely consider it as a venue in...

"Stayed in Room 14 for one night. Room very tired - headboard peeling in flakes onto pillows, furniture shoddy & worn. Toilet roll with 4 sheets left folded at end on holder to look nice in en-suite. Room in desperate need of refurbishment. Staff however were very friendly, courteous & professional. Nice meal/drinks at reasonable price in Restaurant. Price for room also reasonable. Would stay again but only for night or two."
