"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."

"The location was about as good as you can hope - crazy close to the train station and conveniently located next to the canal, right outside of the touristic heart of the city. The rental was spacious and crazy comfortable - with amenities aplenty, the washing machine was a godsend. "What an incredible property – it was absolutely perfect for our needs: four adults and one toddler. Everything was exactly as shown; in fact, the photos don’t do the property justice!Richard and Helen were on hand to help with any questions, and the pool was a godsend in the hot weather. A gas barbecue, bikes and even pool inflatables were provided too. There was plenty of living space, fully equipped kitchen, three generously sized bedrooms with lots of storage, and off-street parking, making this the perfect place for our family trip.The property is only a few minutes’ walk from the canal, where you’ll find cafés and bars overlooking the water. The nearest supermarket is also just a few minutes away by car.We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property!"

"There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city to eat. Breakfast here was very good (one of the best we had while traveling around France, Italy and Switzerland). I truly hope you try this place as the owners are really great people..."

Les commerces ne sont pas loin, ni les accès routiers pour faire de belles et grandes balades.Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et Brigitte ne manque jamais de répondre à la moindre question. En résumé: tout est fait pour passer de très bonnes vacances."

"We stayed for one week at the end of July and enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check- in went smooth even though we arrived day later Reception is open only for limited hours during day but you can easily check in/out- out of office hours, just contact host for the instructions. Place is very calm and quiet, surrounded by vineyards. Best is to have a car to explore the area. Uless you preffere stay in and dip in the pool.Around 1 hour drive to very nice and not overcrowded Narbonne Beach(mediterrean sea). You can even venture to Barcelona (over 2 hour drive) if you like.There is a lake just few minutes drive away with designated beach and area to swim.Also highly recommend a boat trip on Canal du Midi. Azille makes a good travel base on a budget.There is a mini-supermarket less than 5 min drive away. Good value for the price.Great escape from busy, crowded London. You can buy vine from the Juarres Vinery at the reception or book a taster at vinery just next to Residence. You can rent a bike there as well. Things to know.You need to clean your rented apartment before leaving or pay a fee of €90.There is no cleaning products or toileteries. Just Towels and toilette paper included.Kitchen eqipped with electric hob &kettle,fridge,toaster,microvave and filtered coffee machine. No Oven. Deffinitely would reccomend it.Thank you very much La Residence du Chateau de Juarres for our lovely break with You."
