Hotel is out of the centre of the city but public transport within easy reach just need a number 21 bus the stop was just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a triple room and there were no towels for the 3rd person. They were brought to our room immediately. The room and bathroom were very clean. Some of the furniture was damaged. It is very noisy, when showering in the neighboring room, a shrill and very loud whistling sound was heard for the duration of the shower. This was very annoying and disturbing. The breakfast was good, something for everyone. The staff at breakfast were quite grumpy but attentive when something was missing. Overall the stay was fine for 2 nights but I wouldn't stay there any longer.

Disappointing

Had to cancel one night of 2 night stay due to train issue...notified hotel who advised they could not refund the one night and to contact hotels.com to get refunded...then contacted hotels.com who advised they could not refund the night as the XO hotel did not approve...very disappointing and would not recommend to others to stay there

I think I got a lemon of a room. There were handful of small issues that should have been dealt with before I arrived. Both the sink and the tub were cracked and there was hair around the room in the bathroom and in the bed. The tub was very worn and needed a replacement. The drain was slow and didn't work well to stop the water or let it drain. There was a soap film on the tub and half finished plumbing with toilet paper shoved in the pipe under the sink. The conditioner dispenser didnt work and I had to play with it to get it functioning.

Despite the fact I messaged them about my severe feather allergy, they did not inform me that they don’t have any no feather pillow or blanket and they refused to cancel or refund my reservation. In 5 min in the room I had an allergic reaction and lost my voice and had to immediately leave the room and check out the same hour but did not get my refund.
