Excellent public transport links to Amsterdam/Haarlem/Schiphol airport. A nice quiet hotel, away from the bustle of the city centre. Lots of amenities on site, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. My only suggestion would be to offer twin beds.

The venue is perfectly connected to the city centre and other focal points, like the airport or the bus station. The room was very clean and had all the necessary items. Can only recommend The Social Hub!

Decent hotel at a convenient location

Good: Overall good value for money. Great access to both Metro and tram just outside the entrance. Not so good: there is no refrigerator in the room and the showers water pressure is reduced way too much in order to "save the polar bears" apparently. But overall a decent stay.

We had a really nice stay at The Social Hub Amsterdam West. It’s not central but it’s good linked to the center with the tram and metro, which are both in front of the hotel. Best sleeping I had in a hotel too!

Calming colour in the corridor

All the staff - from the front desk, in the café, to the housekeeping team - were friendly, professional and approachable, not to mention really enthusiastic. We also noted the Colours used in the corridor: calming wall paint and soft carpet to make us feel calm and cosy when returning from an adventure.

Realy enjoyed the stay over the weekend for 3 nights, and would recommend everyone to come visit, however one little problem, the tap in room 1105 does not dispose of water and takes a good hour for it go down the drain overall great place howvwr

Overall the stay was great - location next to metro was convenient for me heading out to a conference at the RAI. Rooms a bit basic and tired. You could hear noise from hallways and other rooms. The gym was pretty dire… basement with limited lighting. Staff helpful, WiFi amazing, and breakfast was good. I was travelling for work so overall I was happy, but there are better places out there.

Frat house

Didn't stay there. We walked in. There were shot glasses on tables and looked like a frat house. The line for the check in was so long that we had to wait for an hour. After an hour the line was still barely moving so we went to another hotel and stayd. Can't recommend this place if you above 16 years old

Great sized room, clean and comfortable, good utensils for cooking, could have used a small table and another chair to eat at | very close to metro we had a multi day pass that got us on all trams, buses, ferries and metros which was great to get into the centre | lidl only one stop on the metro away

This place really does want to be a social hub. It's got a lot of fun amenities likes games in the lobby, a big public bed to watch tv in, a whole quiet area in the basement that's really great to work or chill in and a gym. The free laundry was a real win for me, but you'll have to use the app to use it (ask front desk if you have trouble). The staff was very helpful on my visit. I didn't see too many people using the fun features, but the location is just not close enough to downtown to be where the action is at if that's your thing. Still, the option is there. You'll take the city tram just outside the hotel 20 min to get downtown and walk a bit. The rooms were just ok. The beds were pretty stiff, the layout in my room didn't have a lamp or switch near the bed, and there was a 1 inch metal lip to the bathroom that you *will* stub your toe on in the dark. They've done good work on it, but the rooms still feel like a repurposed office building. The AC is not that powerful if you like your rooms cool in the summer, and the shades don't block out all the light no matter what. The shower was ok, but not that powerful. Still, it was clean and has what you need. If you don't mind a really firm bed you'd do all right with this given the price. As said, everything room wise is just... ok. Would I recommend this? For a group of younger adults there to party, I'd say yes. The good price and amenities make this a fun spot. But if you like comfy rooms or a central location, unsure.

Hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt dort. Beim ersten Zimmer war die Klima defekt, haben dann aber sofort ein neues bekommen. Metro und Straßenbahn direkt vorm Hotel. Sehr Zentral nach Zandvoort 20min mit Zug und in die Innenstadt 15 min. Frühstück war sehr lecker und Personal supet freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
