I stayed here for 4 nights i would say the room i stayed in was good could of done with a touch up here and there bathroom was abit small shower could of done with a curtain to stop the water going everywhere staff were polite and helpfull

The location of the property is perfect. Easy to walk to the center or to the west and it’s right next to one of the best parks in Amsterdam, Vondelpark. The room I had was spacious and the staff were very helpful.

Location was good. Room was tiny and backed on to the lift, so was noisy when the lift was in use. No traffic noise. Bed was saggy on one side. Staff were friendly enough but didn’t go out of their way. No service done in a 4 night stay.

Very close to area we wanted to be. Room was quite small but functional. Bathroom shower needs some attention - water goes everywhere from rainfall shower head and right out under bathroom door. There is no lip on shower stall to hold back the water.

We had a balcony room and when we looked at the left we could see a canal, it was good for the price. Staff eas very nice and check in and out went very smoothly

Found broken pieces of glass in my room. No fan or A/C made it very uncomfortable to stay in, especially when trying to sleep. The floor was rough and uncomfortable. Couldn’t get a cold shower running, it always went hot, which was quite bad given the weather. Wifi was horrible and didn’t work most of the time

Guys please read reviews on Google before you submit in purchasing. I got an infection because the toilets were dirty.

Comfortable location

The location is quite comfortable and in a walkable distance to the main attractions. The outside of the hotel is not bad but the entrance is very dirty, the rooms are dusty, showers are not very functional as you will flood the floor. Rooms are spacious but the forniture not arranged properly as you will have to jump over the bed to reach the balcony.

Good location, walking distance to most places tourists may want to go. Bathroom was main issue, shower gets water everywhere. Walls are thin and front desk staff conversations can be heard at all hours.

£250 for 2 nights for a very tatty hotel with walls bare and no wall paper, tatty towels that were small, paint on the chair in the room, couldnt even serve a coffee because they'd run out of milk. Just awful.If it was £50 a night, that would be a different story. Wish i'd pay more to go elsewhere.

I would rate 2.5 stars if possible. Good location, spacious room, big comfortable bed, nice en suite, very clean. Down side was tv and hairdryer didn’t work, never got the lift to work and my room was on the 4th floor, could hear conversations in next room.

The room was too small. It was impossible to sleep at night because of the noise. It was the super loud elevator if it wasn't somebody talking loudly. The room was not super clean (my sheets had stains), and the walls desperately needed a fresh coat of paint. I do not recommend the property.

The room itself is fine, you have a bed and a lovely shower… but it is not a balcony, it’s a shelf that you can’t actually stand on so the description is not accurate. The wallpaper is peeling throughout the property and the whole place feels like it needs a deep clean. While we were staying, some guests upstairs decided to smoke in their room and set off the fire alarms at 1am. However, if the price was a little lower I would stay here again.. the location is perfect for exploring Amsterdam and it is actually pretty quiet as it’s not right in the centre

Disappointing Amsterdam Hotel

Unfortunately this hotel falls way below par. My first room had a broken door handle, the toilet push was also broken, the shower handles were broken so almost impossible to turn off when wet. The wallpaper is hanging off the walls in the corridors and the feature wall in the bedroom is peeling off. The wood of the door frames are soaked through so look brown and are falling apart. My towels were dirty with black marks and the one for the shower was insignificant to soak up the water. You can hear most of the guests in the next room and the room above if they are walking or talking so my friend bought ear plugs in order to sleep. The staff were quite friendly and did what they could but unfortunately the hotel itself is a massive let down. Unfortunately they also keep cats on site so if you are allergic then that could be a problem… the cats sit outside the front door to the building. The location is fairly close to town and easy access to a tram and Vondelpark and this was really the only good thing.
