Second stay at this property within 2 weeks (stopover pre and post cruise). Ideally located in a fabulous area full of shops, restaurants and beautiful views. Property has extremely tiny rooms and beds but overall clean and a great stay!

The room was very small and the hotel smelt like a dirty litter box. The beds had hairs in them and you could tell the floors and walls had not been washed in a very very long time. The breakfast buffet was overall ok but there were some things that looked potentially old (not fresh).

Good location

The hotel is very well located. The room and common area was clean. The only complaint we had was how tiny the room was and the bed was not very comfy and the duvet cover was yellowed (instead of white) which made it look a bit dirty

Unfortunately our stay had bed bugs which really hurt our trip to Amsterdam. I will say the staff was very accommodating they did switch our room on the 3rd night and they paid for cream that my partner needed to help heal the bites. Average stay overall. The staff were great , i think they need some attention to their cleaning staff.

The receptionist was trying to be funny saying I looked like I’ve had a lot of beers… kinda awkward after that. Proceeded to give a lot of unwarranted recommendations. The room was clean but the bed had a lot of glitter (lol) that I would wake up with and have to shower. One night at 3am fireworks went off for a good amount of time that woke me. I don’t know if I’d stay here again.

This property is located in a very noisy(at night) square so keep that in mind before booking. Also not very clean. Terrible housekeeping. Floor was not cleaned during our stay. There was dust everywhere on the floor even when we first checked in the floor was dirty. Shower tap was broken which after reporting in the morning they came in the evening and fixed it. Property seem to be run down, old furniture and very dark breakfast area with very limited option for breakfast which didn’t look appetizing. If I go back I would choose a different hotel.

Small but comfortable

Basic room is VERY small. Perfect for 2 people who are happy to be in close proximity to each other. Beds very comfortable and shower was amazing. Very little storage room. Dont book this room if you have big bags. We had x2 small backpacks and had to stand them by the door. Breakfast was good, lots of options to suit. Staff were very friendly and helpful Location is fantastic. Right opposite the tram stop so easy to get the number 14 or 4 to the Central Train Station. Everything is in walking distance and there are lots of places to eat and drink all around the square the hotel is on.

DO NOT STAY THERE, I promise you will regret it. First of all, I had a room that was booked based on the size and photos I chose, they gave me a room the size of a small washroom. My friend and I couldn’t walk in the room at the same time. Second, the water was not working in the room we told the reception and the guy came upstairs to check. He told us the guy on his way to fix it and nothing happened in 3 days we were there. We had to book another hotel (3 stars) which was bigger and better than what we booked. This hotel is defiantly a 1 or 2 star max not 4 as they claimed. I will contact expedia to escalate my situation. I asked to get the bigger room and they said we don’t have them available. However; moments after a couple walked in and booked a walk in bigger room on the spot. Trust me don’t stay there I promise you will regret it. Staff was the rudest they will not acknowledge your situation and your requests even though you are willing to pay

Small rooms which is the norm in Amsterdam, breakfast was ok, coffee was great but we ate at the restaurant one night and it was poor. Overall we would return as the location is great and straight off the tram from the main train station (4 or 14 tram)

We booked a twin room but when we went in, the bathroom door didnt close and we were told it couldnt be looked at until the next day and they said they were fully booked so we would have to make do so I asked for a refund and then they found a spare room which was to small to fit in with our cases and the 2 single beds were joined without any room to seperate them. I asked for a refund because it wasnt useable but was refused and had to find another hotel at additional cost

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in any hotel. I don’t know how it has a 7.0 rating. The staff we were greeted by was extremely rude and un professional, the hotel smells, there were hairs on the bed and pillows, furniture was dirty and old. Overall a horrible experience. I had to book another hotel after my first night there. Of course they didn’t refund me for the night I didn’t stay there. Spend the extra money to avoid this place.

Expect a smaller room and staying in Rembrandtplein to be a little noisy at night. But overall it is an amazing area to stay at. The hotel and staff were excellent and never had an issue with our stay. Breakfast was as expected with a good variety to start your day. The patio diner had good food and was great to sit at and relax after a long day. Would recommend
