Smaller boutique hotel and we had a room for 4 people as a family.....room was huge with plenty of space. Convenient location near the main station and easily walkable to all main areas of Amsterdam.

Amazing hotel in overall with an architectural design. Friendly staffs, spacious room, clean kitchen, free bike rentals and on-site self laundry in a really good neighbourhood area. The only downside for travellers may be a location which is a bit far from the city centre and airport. It took 35-40mins walk to the city centre and the cab charge to the airport was about 65 euros. We didn’t mind the location as it was peaceful and the hotel itself was just stunning!

An amazing hotel. Loved it here, a very central location and easy to walk anywhere in the city centre. If you catch a train in from anywhere in Europe you have a 400 meter walk to the train station.

We were pleasantly surprised with just how good the Monet Gardens Hotel was. From the moment we arrived, and we were early, there was nothing too hard for them. As we were early, our room wasn’t ready but we were offered a basement room. Being a bit unsure and being called basement rooms gave us the picture of a windowless dungeon. The lovely front desk staff took us down to show us the room so we could decide and it was fantastic, with views of the canal so close you could touch it.

We stayed 4 nights in June 2018. The apartment we had was very pleasant with good quality appliances. The location is very convenient with a large supermarket on the next corner and many nice restaurants in the area. The 397 express bus from the airport stops right outside the door and the trams to the city centre and museums also run past the door. And the metro is just down the street. The area seems to be an upmarket part of Amsterdam. Service was good with helpful and friendly staff. Our...

We live in France for part of the year and on our way back to Western Australia decided that we would break the journey from Toulouse by staying in Amsterdam for 4 days.
By luck we booked the Sofitel Legend the Grand Amsterdam and hit the jackpot.
We have stayed in the best hotels in Singapore, Hong Kong etc. but this one was as good as it gets.
Faultless.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of a holiday in January.
We found the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. The romantic cottage (to be more accurate, it is a large room which is part of the cottage with a fantastic jacuzzi).
The room itself was spacious and well appointed. Inclusion of nespresso machiner and complementary mineral water were nice touches.
