Old, Run down , it needs a lot of improvements, I will not recommend this hotel very small rooms, it needs a lot of maintenance. The AC was not working. The windows are not insulated for noise. The only good thing about this hotel is location. 1/2 star,spend an extra €50 per night and get a nicer place.

The girl at the front was amazing. She worked 14 hours in a day and she smiled every time we saw her. That being said when I asked to check in early if the room was open, they sent me a form letter saying I must pay an early fee to check in early. It’s a competitive market and most hotels, offer free early check in if the room is available. Most hotels offer at least two bottles of water at no charge on checking in. I also believe the charge a guest a higher rate if they want to stay more days when they booked it a cheaper price online is a mistake. Most hotels carry forward the on the price because this time they don’t have to pay commission. Without the nice girl at the front we probably would’ve left. Give her a raise and get your policies up-to-date. Mr. Canada

Great room, great location, at a cheap price.

The room exceeded my expectations. It was decently big, and very clean, with a nice view of the canal. We only had 2 minor complaints: there was no soap on the sink, and the AC automatically turned off during the night.

For what it is, it's a good hotel, in a good location. The complimentary tea and coffee in reception was appreciated and the reception staff were helpful. The rooms are perfectly adequate as are the on suits shower rooms, but not overly spacious (if in a double, expect one of you to have to climb out of bed from the bottom). Clearly some elements are in needs of a bit of TLC and there is no sound proofing, but given the age of the building, that can be forgiven and wasn't really an issue. There is a bar literally next door that does a great breakfast and a bakery across the canal which is open earlier for coffee and pastries, they also do great sandwiches. The area itself is relatively quiet but still has plenty of shops and restaurants and everything is within reasonable walking distance. Would we stay there again? yes.

Was close of the center.... Room had no windows, even for in case of emergency. Room is very very small. Bathroom looks like a RV bathroom, mold everywhere, heat doesn't stay...

I would definitely stay here again. Great location and a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. I only took one star off because my room was on the ground floor next to a cafe and it could get noisy. But another room wouldn’t have that issue. The tram was right outside making it easy to get around- though most places were easily walkable. Hope to visit again soon!
