Had a great stay at hotel Manofa, the property was in a great location and was fairly clean. Would recommend staying here if you’re going to Amsterdam on a budget.

Terrible accessibility to your room (if you are on the second floor). The steps are so badly designed, you better have an insurance when climbing them with your luggage. Great location if that’s your preference but not worth the price for me

Like a lot of older hotels in the center city area in old European cities…Great location… old hotel needing renovations. U saw 3 staff/desk clerks…2 were friendly and cordial, one was cold. Room small, with 0 amenities. After climbing steep narrow stairs to room lugging my large travel bag, after long bus ride I just wanted to lay down and rest and watch TV. No remote control. Went back down these same stairs and asked the desk clerk who pulled one out from under his counter. Why didn’t he offer me one when I dealt with him upon check in….if that was their system. Of course no elevator. Heater in the room as old and not putting out much heat for a cold room. Hot water was not available for showers for first day due to outside road work. Again the clerk failed to mention this minor condition when I was first down there.

You get what you pay for. Ok but clearly we were. Unaware of amsterdam prices. Ideal for youngsters on a budger.

Street quite noisy. Easy access to main sights and public transport. Stairs are very narrow and steep, the handrail was almost vertical.
