Stayed in this hotel in 2023 and once again this year and honestly nothing but positive feedback for the staff. Helpful, kind and accommodating. I would definitely still stay here if ever I come back in future. Amenities all included so no need to bring your own. Buffet breakfast so you’ll never start your morning with an empty stomach
The location and staff were 5 star. So helpful, sociable and welcoming.
Breakfast was ideal and considering the location, it was quite quiet.
Cost was very good for an Amsterdam hotel.
Staff was courteous upon check in, held bags, room was clean, beds were comfortable, windows blocked noise, wifi connection was excellent.

Small, pokey hotel - pleasant staff; clean; basic but with the essentials. Central; if the price is low and you just want a simple bed it’s fine; not unusual for Amsterdam, a city a large stock of overpriced, fairly rundown central hotels in need of a major refurb.
While an older facility that shows some wear, it was very clean and staff helpful. We arrived early and could store our luggage easily, and typical European buffet breakfast with cereals, eggs, croissants, toast, cheeses, meats etc.
Rooms on small side but bed comfortable and showers have plenty of hot water.
Weather was warm but room AC worked well. Great location and walkable from Centraal station near Dam Square.
The location is great; right off Dam Square and close to Centraal Station. Our room was typically small but very clean with a nice updated bathroom. No hairdryer in the room but you an ask for on at the front desk. Staff were amazing; and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. We would stay here again.
This is a very basic "hotel." The staff was helpful, and everything was clean. While there are individual rooms, they are very small. The elevator did not work. The breakfast was quite basic compared to most other European hotels.
The rooms are small, clean and reasonably priced for a stay in the city. It is in a location close to the Royal Palace and the Jordaan neighborhood. Some of the rooms have been renovated with a modern bathroom that makes the room seem more open. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet included with the room.

Great location, tolerable prices, friendly staff. It's certainly not fancy, I only needed a place for one night, and for that it was great. Room was very small but functional. My room was only accessible via a narrow stair, so not recommended for people with mobility issues or big/heavy luggage (not a problem for me though)
Breakfast was good, and staff overall was very friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience
The hotel is right in the middle of Amsterdam and just off Dam square. It is therefore close to and central to the majority of places and sites people would want to go to. The hotel is obviously of an older vintage and therefore it is showing the size of wear and tear. The single rooms are very small in size as to be expected but the bedding was comfortable and the shower was hot. There are very few other amenities in the rooms. Breakfast was included and this was plentiful and with a good variety of foods on offer. As a place to stay as a visitor where you are not looking to be in the hotel very much, this is recommended, but it is not the place if you are expecting ambience and a much higher level of luxury fittings and the like.
Even if the building is old , it was very clean , the location was great and the staff was very nice . I stayed just for a night and the little tiny room I booked had all the essentials. The only problem I had is that the safe wasn’t working and they tried to fix it and even to replace it but I was staying only one night so there wasn’t enough time so I hope they fixed it for the next guest . Luckily I was travelling with values other than my passport.
The breakfast at the restaurant was simple but good . I would stay again there .
Great hotel, fabulous location super nice staff couldn’t have asked for more.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely its location. It is centrally located in the heart of Amsterdam, making it a perfect base for exploring the city and its attractions.
The reception and common areas felt somewhat outdated and could benefit from some renovation and improved cleanliness, which unfortunately gave a less-than-ideal first impression. The rooms are quite small, but they provide the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Considering the room size and facilities, the price felt a little high.
One aspect that was particularly disappointing was the breakfast. The quality and selection did not meet expectations, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for breakfast options during your stay.
Overall, the hotel is a good choice if your main priority is a central location and a convenient place to sleep while exploring Amsterdam.

Budget palce, decent. I would spend a few hundred extra and avoid this place next time. I had requested to have a look at the room before I could book it but was denied. Breakfast option and the location is very convenient. Grumpy staff.
