"I stayed here with my family and we were fairly shocked regarding the service we received throughout our stay. First of all, I counted 18 hairs in the bathtub when checking into our room, the bathroom clearly hadn’t been touched. My family and I had booked 4 rooms at the hotel. We all noticed that none of our rooms had been ‘restocked’ when they had been cleaned. For example, no cups or amenities around the kettle biscuits, tea/ coffee, sugar etc were replaced. "This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...

Service at breakfast was very poor. 5 staff stood talking at reception desk at breakfast and had eaten breakfast before we ask 3 staff for coffee or tea.
