This hotel is beautiful and is at an incredible location in Anglesey and is very close by to many lovely parts of Anglesey that you can drive to , walk to or get a local boat such as Puffin island .
Very Impressed with The Bulkeley Hotel we could only book a cosy and Comfortable room as the Hotel was full ,better than I thought it was going to be.The evening meal was excellent and so was the breakfast . I would definitely recommend this Hotel to friends and family.
Great place to stay so much history in the building and the room we stayed had a fantastic view across the Menai straights and the mountains of Snowdonia...
Great food, great staff and great accommodation *****
For a taste of the past this grand hotel has all the features. Sitting room with big comfy couches, opposite the pier and a few mins walk from the castle. The room was good (we had least expensive)the bath enormous ( shower above) maybe one too many chairs but slept well and breakfast excellent. The restaurant was also very good in the evening and the Bull’s head the other night can be recommended.

Lovely staff and location excellent. Hotel a little tired but everything was in the rooms e.g. Kettle, hair dryer etc. Only gave 3 stars as the bed was uncomfortable. It was a memory form mattress around 4 inches so when you sat on the bed you sat straight on the diven hard board.
Second stay at this Beautiful old building with immense character. Love the place. Cheaper rooms are quite basic. But this time treated the with to the Regent suite - stunning room with 4 poster bed. Breakfast was amazing.
Special mention to the young female serving at breakfast. So polite and helpful. And the night time young charming American barman.
Only downside was the lift was broken. Alot of stairs to climb.

Amazing views and the whole experience with the hotel was one of the friendliest. The room was cozy and clean and as a lover of antiques the place was a dream .
Staff very helpful.Lots of places to sit and relax .Car park is small and if you want a space it’s a case of first come first serve first served. The room are very big and ours was lovely, the only complaint was it was really hot in the room although there was a fan provided.Would entertain going again and maybe staying a few days
Staff were very friendly and helpful, both at breakfast and dinner.
Room was very clean and comfortable. It was very windy whilst we were there and due to the age of the property the bathroom window, which didn’t fit very well let a lot of cold air in.
Bed and pillows very comfortable.
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary We have been to Beaumaris many times but this was our first stay at the Bulkley and it will definitely not be our last it is a absolute gem of a hotel full of charm Friendly and helpful staff The hotel is clean and breakfasts and evening dinner excellent We plan to return later this year a fantastic 10 out of 10 break Highly recommended
We had a great room with sea views, both the bedroom and bathroom were very large. The evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Nice coffee shop with a good selection of cakes. Substantial breakfast. Great Staff. Love every minute of my weekend stay. Will be defiantly be back.
Clean and tidy, friendly staff and wonderful historic building

Lovely room with sea view as advertised. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff extremely friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. Coffee was good. We didn't make use of the bar or restaurant so can't comment. Excellent location for exploring and walking. Would definitely stay there again.
The staff were very good the hotel despite a few small blemishes here and there was a fantastic example of old world charm and comfort the view out of our room was stunning will definitely be staying again
We had a reasonable good time. The place when me went managed to get a car park, but no proper organisation of parking people seem to park wherever they want to. It was one way in and one way out, so one always blocked the entrance on the way out was a problem. You had to get there early, otherwise you will get no parking space for people who are staying there. The breakfast was pretty good. I must say there could have been a little bit more wise choices. The staff were friendly, which was good, but they need to smile a bit more also our room when we went in, look good, but later on when we went for a shower the flow of the shower was very low
. The air venture on the shower was dirty with full of fluff. 2 vens were all covered with white fluff, which never been cleaned. Also, the shower area where you open the door and close. It was all dirty, dirty around the shower. Tray was dirty, including where you put your shower, soap or bottles. It's rusted away. There are loads of little bits, and bobs have been not looked after in the room, paint mark's been or wallpaper been scraped and left. I have taken photos to show you how did this place was presentable? The other thing I like to point out is that
When I went to use one of the toilets near the reception area. The men's toilet, I nearly fell off the seat. The whole seat from the ground upwards was completely loose. It had now screwed fixtures on it. Also, this is a health and safety issue. The building is tired.
This Hotel is in a Beautiful setting. Lovely shops close by, Castle,Easy Parking. The food was absolutely fantastic and plentiful lots of variety. The Cafe had a good Selection of cakes. Staff are Amazing, we were very well looked after.
