"Very affordable, right on the subway"
The rooms are small (Japanese style) but face it, you are in Tokyo, you aren`t going to spend a lot of time in your room. Subway station is right beside, you are one stop from Shinjuku station and surrounded by reasonable restaurants and bars.

"Get what you pay for"
We picked this hotel because it was close to Shinjuku station but still resonably cheap. It delivered on both counts there. Like a lot of Tokyo hotels, it looks pretty dated inside, but of you're not concerned about the decor this is a good place to stay.

"great hotel"
We stayed Jan 2016 family of 4 two rooms (twin) non smoking, we had a late check in, hotel was in the middle of renovations, but it didn't affect us, they did offer larger rooms (for a fee) but we decided to stick with what we had booked, rooms were small but still manageable, the hotel is really close to the vibrant Shinjuku, we ate out every night, cheaper than the hotel.

This sprawling business, commercial, and entertainment center never lets up. Futuristic-looking City Hall offers a free observation deck with great city views.
