"This was a perfect home/location for our long weekend while my daughter and I ran the Big Sur Marathon!! The hot tub was a great bonus after all the hills!! The home is so quaint and cozy and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend this home and will consider it for next year if we run the marathon again! Location was perfect, we were able to walk to downtown Pacific Grove and the walkway along the ocean. Parking was no problem all weekend."

"The house has a stupendous view of the ocean, is comfortable and well equipped. We celebrated my 70th birthday there and can’t imagine a place that could be better. You don’t have to drive anywhere to experience the fantastic coastline, but you can walk quite a ways if you like."

"I had been looking for a place to stay with my family and I, that would be ok with a very small gathering. Many places could not accommodate. The owner of this beautiful home though, not only did accommodate, but was also very helpful and thoughtful to mine and my family's needs. He was also very quick to answer any messages I sent his way about questions that I had. His home was not only beautiful but perfect for the small family get together I had. I can't say enough good things about my stay!"

"This house is perfect for a family stay in the Monterey area. We loved having a fenced in area for the dogs to be let out. The house is comfortable, the beds were great, the communication was prompt and friendly. They had bowls and bed, etc for the dogs, it was a nice touch. The neighborhood itself wasn’t the best for dog walking, not much grass/yards there and my husband was followed by an unattended loose pit bull the first time he walked them. So we drove to a nearby park or the area around...

"We drove to Sweet Pea, parked right in front of the house, and walked everywhere (including the Aquarium). The accommodations were spotless, we had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we slept soundly. During some windy periods the screens rattled a wee bit, but those were the only interruptions to our serenity. We would definitely return."

The drip coffee pot was not working well. The keruig was perfect. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans to make excellent meals. Joe was very responsive to questions."

Found it to be a bit remote from services that we wanted to access (golf, fishing, etc), but no fault of the host in that, I think more that I failed to research the distance to Monterey and Pacific Grove."
