Perfect Stay

This place has everything, but most importantly the view is amazing! Just steps away from the ocean where we saw whales, dolphins, otters, seals and incredible sunsets. Clean and well appointed, a perfect stay!

Great Place for Families

The Pajaro Dunes are amazing! The view from the rental was spectacular and the sound of the ocean was nice. Short walk to beach front with lots of nice people working at the resort. You can roast marshmallows on the beach, pitch a tent, and hang out on the beach all day.

Very nice house

It was great! Really lovely views from the apartment, kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was comfy. There were also lots of beach chairs and towels provided.

Fabulous rental

We have stayed here before & will return again. A beautiful rental on the top floor on the furthest forward unit facing right out onto the ocean. Absolutely gorgeous view & a fully equipped unit with plenty of space to sleep.

Amazing View

You are steps away from a beach. Beach decor that is inviting and comfortable. The fireplace offers different settings by remote. The kitchen is well stocked and organized. Very nice and would love to stay again.

Just what we needed

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your perfect place. We had a rough year and this was what the 4 of us needed to face our next steps as a family. With our kids already young adults, it is difficult to find time where the 4 of us can enjoy each other's company. I prepared all the food beforehand so we did not visit any of the local attractions, other than the beach and my son and husband went to Carmel. My daughter brought all the books and games so we could all catch up on our reading and playing. My husband, who suffers the cold very much brought all the blankets from our home but we barely used all of them, temperature was great. In summary, we enjoyed it very much thanks to the environment being so welcome.

Honeymoon getaway

We loved the location of this beachfront condo, but the cleanliness factor was not great. We walked in and there were crumbs on the counter like someone just ate a grilled cheese there. We went into the bedroom and the comforter was dirty and there was hair on the comforter, pillows and sheets. The unit has a washer and dryer so we washed everything ourselves before we could sleep in the bed. Definitely should look into hiring a new cleaning person.

Disappointing

This unit was disappointing, except for the beautiful view of the ocean. it was under stocked for the most basic provisions. Most of the appliances need upgrades. CONS. No bar soap No ice maker or ice trays No measuring cups or measuring.spoons, No baggies, Saran Wrap, limited amount of TP paper, napkins, paper towels Fireplace that was advertised, turned out to be a non-working electric artificial fireplace. Very HARD WATER. I’m assuming a design flaw necessitated the raised bathtub to allow proper drainage, but the nearly 12 inch step from the tub to the bathroom floor could be considered a safety hazard. Loose and chipped tiles on bathroom floor. PROS…. THE VIEW, is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Would rent again

We had a great time in this beach condo. It had everything we needed. My only word of caution, if you are older is there are a lot of steps. The condo is on the 3rd floor. No elevators. They have a ramp up to your stairs, that you will need to use a cart to load your things into and push to those steps. The tub surround is very tall for an elderly person also. The shower head is stationary, not hand held. The internet was not working. The guest internet, nor the private internet. The host responded, but after rebooting the internet, we did not want to spend a lot of time on it. So, no TV, computer, Kindle, etc. We ended up using our phones as a hotspot to get what we needed done and then shut that down. If you don't have unlimited data, it would have been costly. The view out that window and balcony is gorgeous and if we weren't on the beach we could still feel really good about the setting. There are 2 flights of stairs to the beach. I liked that this condo was at the end of the row of condos. We would rent this condo again.

Repeat Visit to our special beach retreat

We love the views from the glass doors and deck. We saw several whales and enjoyed picking strawberries. We also enjoy the hikes in the redwoods in Aptos and along the coast. We want to come back. This was our second time staying at this condo.
