"We needed a place to stay near the Jersey Shore for a few days and the Lily Pad appealed to us because of the large fenced yard. Getting into the cottage couldn’t have been easier and Paul was over within minutes getting an extra air conditioner set up (he had one going in the front room for us, but the temperature had risen unexpectedly). Our dogs used the yard quite a bit, especially our puppy. He loves to run but can’t go to dog parks because he doesn’t have the best manners, so he was in heaven during our stay. Traveling with dogs can be challenging, especially when it’s hot, because a lot of places don’t welcome them and tiring them out in the yard was an excellent option for us so they could nap while we did some sightseeing. The inside of the place was really perfect—clean and very comfortable, and having linens and towels provided by the hosts was an unexpected bonus. It’s not huge, but there were only two adults and I think it would work well for a couple or a family with small kids. I think that it would have been a good idea for us to have rented bikes, as there’s not a lot to see within walking distance (and parking in Cape May is annoying) but honestly, just being able to relax and let the dogs run after a long drive and a stressful family event felt great. I’d highly recommend!!"

"My friend and I have stayed there before this is why we decided to stay there again staff is friendly and helpful i stayed these trip with my service dog and they made sure that I had a room on the first floor the microwave was spotless and plenty of kitchen needs available for use but we also knew to bring our own coffee ☕️ pot to use they are not available in every room plus favorite restaurant is across the street "
