"The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,...

"We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!"

"We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens."

"We had a wonderful time with family and friends at this property. This home was spotless and was equipped with all necessities. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. Overall, a great weekend getaway and we highly recommend this property and apprectiate the opportunity to spend time in this home :)"

"My family and the grandparents all had a nice stay at this location. Nice location just outside of Harrisonburg, away from the crowds of students/parents on a very busy weekend, Stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. Used the big kitchen table to play cards and enjoyed the hot tub on our last night. Thanks!"

"Ample room for a large group. The patio was beautiful and we spent most of our time outside. If you plan to be outside and enjoy a firepit, I would ask for extra gas tanks. You will need to bring cups for coffee, as there are only a few provided and they are not in the best shape. There are no serving dishes, so bring your own (bowls/platters)."

"Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. "Clean, comfortable - has everything you need. Game room was fun! Family stayed for a JMU graduation. Very close to Harrisonburg. Would definitely come back to swim in pool or ski on mountain. Property manager easy to contact and they left plenty of info in home to make you understand the layout of the place"

"We stayed here with our children, our friends, and their children over spring break. The lodge was beautifully appointed, with board games, a well-equipped kitchen, TVs and video games, and a hot tub. There were many minor-but-thoughtful touches throughout, too. Overall it was the perfect location for a restful retreat and reconnecting friends."

We had 2 hiccups while staying here but we ended up enjoying the house. 1st hiccup was the refrigerator because it was not getting cold and we had just brought groceries ‼️ so he told us to pull it out and we did but could not put it back, my friend had to keep climbing over the counter to get to her room, which was annoying. We asked host to send someone like maintenance but he said there wasn’t one and this isn’t a hotel. After 4 hrs stuff still wasn’t cold or frozen so he...

"The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but when we set it at the temp we wanted (68/69 degrees), the room was still...
