George Washington Wood Bed & Breakfast
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"Absolutely amazing experience staying in this B&B. The owners were accommodating and even provided a tour of the home for us while we stayed. We received a "Sanitation" kit which included masks, sanitizer, gloves, etc for our use. Home cooked breakfast was delightful and better than you would get at any diner in the area (we know, we've been to most of them). The rooms were immaculate, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was almost spa-like with the standalone bathtub and night light mood...

"The stay was good. The many requests to review are not. The texting...not. I understand the importance of reviews to merchants and business people. But give the customer a moment to breathe. I did not stay at this b&b. My wife and son did. I forwarded the first two requests for review to my wife. She is very busy. I am very busy. I hope I've made my concerns clear. "

"The house is lovely. Brian was an excellent and attentive host. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was recently remodeled. There were snacks and wine, tea, and water available in the evening. Because the room I was in did not have an en suite bathroom (although the bathroom was private), bathrobes were provided. I understand that most rooms in the house have en suite bathrooms. Limited parallel parking was available on the street at night; daytime parking was limited to 2 hours from 9 am...

8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"Great affordable place nearby Chinatown and within a mile of the city center of Philadelphia. The place is very groovy with their vintage furniture, atari, and record player. Bathroom is clean, beds are comfy with foam underneath, wooden floors. cons- curtains are not dark enough to block out sun light, walls are thin as we could smell someone cooking steak throughout the place for the entire night, and I guess floors are thin as you can hear footsteps above. overall good place if you are a...

Mint House at The Divine Lorraine Hotel

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (268)
"Our stay at Mint House at The Divine Lorraine was wonderful. The building itself has been beautifully restored and our room was so not what I expected. I booked a 1 bedroom deluxe suite. This was unlike any suite I have ever stayed in. You walk into a full kitchen/living room with a half bath immediately inside the door. The half bath has a very spacious linen closet. The main area has 2 full size closets and 1 small closet with shelves that could be used as a pantry. The bedroom has a quite...

"Very convenient location to shopping and restaurants in Philly. I never had to walk more than 10 minutes to anywhere I wanted to go. My unit was in great condition and came with dishes to use. There wasn't any dish soap or sponges that I could find, so keep that in mind. However, there was plenty of shampoo and conditioner unlike many places. The bed in the unit I had was VERY firm and felt like sleeping on a rock, so if you hate firm beds, be aware of this. The comforter and pillows,...
