Right next to the Redwood forest and walking distance or a short Uber away from the city center. "Friendly hosts, Margaret and Rob, cooked up a great breakfast both mornings of our stay and provided good ideas for local dining and sightseeing. The lovely pristine little suite features a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with very rural views (cows and sheep very close by). The only downside to this rental is its distance from amenities tho there is nice hiking in nearby Otanewainuku Park."

"Our favourite accommodation in NZ. A beautiful hotel with just the best location. A minute’s walk to Eat Street and just a few more to the CBD and other attractions around town. We had a lovely room with a private courtyard, the bed and pillows were super comfy and it was all very clean. The bathroom was great - large shower with good water pressure and double vanity basins and mirrors. Wonderful smelling toiletries and they even provided toothbrushes. The weekend staff were very helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough. "
