On my second night I discovered there is accommodation in the attic with bare floor boards- I had a rather noisy person above me! "Even before arrival I was greeted with incredible service. There is a link by check in times that advises last check in is 9pm which I didn’t see. By 9pm I was still 2 hours away and they waited to accommodate me and then was there early again for breakfast. Which was very high standard. Excellent and committed customer service from a family run business and for a price a 3rd of other hotels around Liverpool. If you are considering this hotel, then my advice is go ahead and book it. "Anfield is right around the corner. It was the perfect location for walking around the area, exploring Stanley Park, and it was still easy to catch a bus to center city. I had some travel mishaps, and Suzzanne was great to work with. Suzi was likewise great. The atmosphere on matchday was amazing. As a solo traveler my room was small, but it was all I needed. Highly recommended for anyone going to an LFC match."

"The new owners have only been there since March 2024 so any previous reviews are for others and not relevant. Customer service was second to none and couldn't have been better. Very accommodating to dietary requirements. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Lovely atmosphere. Decor is a little tired in places but easily remedied. "Room 3 The room was cold the widows seal was letting in a cold draft. Thery is no chair in the room. I found a slug on the floor next to the fridge their mould in the bathroom and by the entrance to the room in the kitchen. Constant banging doors as other tenants enter the kitchen. Noise from tenants using the kitchen and the smell of food."
