Nassau Hotels

First of all the hotel staff was amazing, we had a blast with them and they were very friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks were very good. Apparently a new ownership took over and is renovating the place. It appears any bad reviews on here may have been written during the previous owners tenure. We went during spring break and had a blast probably one of the best trips of my life.

we enjoyed our stay there, beachfront, child friendly, plenty of pools to choose from, food choices is good, the buffet is standard, not many choices offered but overall it was good. the hotel is under renovation but it does not bother us at all. there are couple of things that need to be updated like beach chairs and bathroom. The location is good since there are plenty of resturants that are walking distance around the area. there is a bus line going to and from the downtown or to atantis. the staff were very polite and accommodating. there is this one issue that bothered us, when we asked for room service to have our baby's bottles sterilize, 4 times we were asked to just go down stairs and bring our sterilizer to their kitchen ourselves. they said that they dont have enough staff to do it for us. is that what you call room service. overall experience is great.

A tropical garden setting in downtown Nassau, with a private beach. Old style colonial charm and personal service by the nicest people you would want to know. Within walking distance of everything. Luxury that you don't mind paying for in one of the most beautiful places on earth; the Bahamas.

Hotel staff was nice and place was great, breakfast was good and its across the street from the beach, Room had a nice view and the breeze from the ocean was the best. Room was basic and had everything you needed.The price for the hotel was just right. It was close enough to walk to all the shops downtown and we rented a car... a must if you want to explore the island. Thank you Junkanoo... we would for sure stay there again.

We stayed in the Woods Rogers room, facing the harbor. Lovely, old school, spacious room. Modern bathroom. We opened the windows and had a lovely breeze. The pools and gardens are relaxing and very pleasant. This is the first time we stayed there, although I've purchased cigars (and now chocolate) for many years. Sitting by either pool is wonderful.

Liked the hotel-staff was very pleasant and polite. Liked the fact that we were walking distance to every place we needed to go to. Very comfortable and clean. It was great to have a full breakfast in the morning only wished they would have more of a variety-such as fruit salads, ham, bacon, omelettes. Only complaint was noisy kids at all hours.

We could happily have stayed a week in our spacious ground-floor suite (living-room entered from hotel courtyard, bathroom and well-equipped kitchen in middle, bedroom with sliding glass doors opening onto our own private patio and garden). We spent most of the morning beside one of the hotel's two swimming pools, enjoying an excellent continental breakfast, before tearing ourselves away to tour Nassau. All the staff members were very kind and we particularly appreciated the prompt attention to our problem with the TV remote.

The staffs of the hotel are so nice, and the room is clean, while this hotel is far from downtown, and it is not convenient because no stores nearby, no restaurant. And another thing is that there is wifi only in the swimming pool and office, no wifi in the room. And a lot of mosquitoes.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in July 2009. It was really nice, standard little hotel which was great for our limited budget. The place is really quite, (we didn't see anyone else there even though they had about 15 other guests). We had the pool to ourselves every night.

This was a one night stay between two other week long stays, one in Freeport and the other in Nassau, so we weren't too worried about the hotel. First, we were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite, then we found the suite to be absolutely lovely. Right on the water (not the beach), but with a nice patio out front and clean and well equipped. The staff were great - even taking us in the golf cart to our next accommodation. We would definitely return for an even longer stay in the future.
