"This is the cutest little hotel! It’s like staying with friends or family. The staff is SO nice and the grounds are beautiful. Very well maintained and clean despite being retro. Loved the hot coffee and banana bread each morning and even enjoyed Obie the cat coming in to stay with us one night."

"The hotel reminded me of a Motel 6. The staff is excellent and very friendly, Had the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a hotel. Slept really well. Was a couple minutes from the airport and close to plenty of parks and places to eat. Would recommend getting a rental car so you can enjoy the whole island. "The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, but the restaurant staff were not very nice and food service was very poor. The breakfast was a joke where there was no food most of the time. The service at the restaurant took over an hour. "

"There is nothing wrong with the property. It is a slightly bit dated, but it is a great place to stay. I have stayed here for both business and leisure. The location is good however, it is surrounded by other run down locations. I assume big storms have ravaged this location. Overall, I will continue to stay here while on the Hilo side of the Big Island. There is a smell of mold on the building entry passageway from storms impacting the carpet.
