"Lovely B&B"

"We had a 3 night stay for a short break. We had Room 4 which was small and on the A259 so there was traffic noise. If we stayed again, we would ask for a rear bedroom. Also we felt a good mirror above the hand basin in the small en suite was needed. The bed was comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good. The bar area was nice with a few separate areas to sit plus a courtyard area. The hotel was also nicely located if you wanted to take a stroll and eat...

"Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience. "

"Pretty little hotel. Rooms well equipped & very clean. Debbie was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was fantastic, a great range of choice & fresh & tasty…. & with a view over the sea, through some trees! Would definitely recommend. "

"Beautifully furnished and quiet, very spacious room. Lisa is a consummate host and went to loads of trouble decorating the breakfast room to celebrate Easter. The breakfasts are fantastic too. There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"Quiet place, room is very big and comfortable. Breakfast could be improved, especially having diary free options and fresh bread would have made difference. However, the owner was really kind to accomodate my needs and brought me a bowl of fruit which was really nice. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"My recent stay at The Ship Inn was nothing short of delightful. The room was exquisite, featuring a majestic four-poster bed and an elegant roll-top bath. The decor was tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Over the course of my two-night stay, I was treated to a lovely breakfast each morning, which was a perfect start to the day. "The lodges are spotless, spacious, well equipped and very well situated for many attractions. The included in-room breakfast was very generous and varied. Porridge, cereal, fruit yoghurt, croissants with jam and orange juice. Tea and coffee. There is a personal picnic bench outside the door to enjoy it in the sunshine with the birds singing. The pub did great food in a lovely dining room. -it’s perfect and we will come back soon"

"Great and comfortable stay! Check inn was quick and easy and entrance to hotel is actually separate to the adjacent pub which was great as we wasn't disturbed by any noise from the revellers on a weekend! Room was very spacious for a family of 4 and was very clean! Would highly recommend and great location. Only 5 min drive to Margate central!"

"We were welcomed with a big smile and a pot of coffee which was lovely after a long day cycling.The bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom big and spotless.The breakfasts were delicious and set us up on the second day to continue cycling. Our bikes were safely stored during our stay. "
