"Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again."

"This is a really good value option for anyone visiting Brighton. The rooms are compact but the bed was very comfortable. The owner is friendly and sorts things out very quickly when you check in. It is also in easy walking distance of the Concorde 2 music venue. So handy if you are seeing a gig there."

"Comfortable and my solo room was perfect for one person. Stayed a week and didn't want to spend too much time in my room, but this was perfect walking distance to come and go, get food right around the corner, and great bus access. Was a bit surprised at the private bathroom setup being added in to what used to be a closet, but the thriftiness of the idea made it charming and impressive. We had a little trouble accessing the property at first because the email hadnt arrived with details how to input access code etc but luckily the gentleman came by and confirmed my reservation and instructed how to use the access code reader. "We stayed for 3 days after our 14-night cruise and were able to wash and dry all our clothes. The washing machine was very handy. The provided clothes hanger had seen better days but we made it work. The location was fabulous and close to heaps of restaurants and pubs. We caught the local bus to Lewes for fun and had a great day. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. We would recommend to stay here. "
