Rooms frequently cleaned although room could do with a makeover renovation, stained chairs, carpets etc but I guess you get that when you have a smokers room, which was great for me. Lobby simply gorgeous, staff very accommodating, wifi bit dubious but at least it was free, it just kept cutting out and you had to ring reception all the time. Great location across the road from the train station, street away from red light district (a must see), cruises and shopping strip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Hotel was within walking distance of where the river cruise ships dock --- 15 minutes. It was directly across from Center Station in Amsterdam (main transportation hub). Canal boats are between the Hotel and Central Station. The hotel was conveniently located for many local attractions, shopping, and many, many eating places. the Hotel provided storage space for our luggage prior to the room being available at no cost. Great place to stay --- would highly recommend the facility. Cost was a little too high is the only negative. When we departed Amsterdam to return home, we took the train at Central Station to the airport for only 4.4 Euro --- very reasonable and a five minute walk to the train from the hotel. Time to the airport on the train was only 15 minutes.

Hotel is in an excellent location, the reception staff were excellent , very helpful and went out of their way to help us find accomodation in Arnhem for the following night.Very good experience overall

Within walking distance of the town centre and close to the city ring roads, the hotel is a modern block, mixing residential and hotel accommodation. So do not expect to have a view on the river flowing nearby, as the hotel rooms are only situated on the town side and do not go beyond the third floor. There is a good bus service to the main railway station and pleasant walks to town along the river or through the park nearby. The hotel has no car park, although there is ample parking space outside the building but fees apply until evening. Rooms are fairly large and well equipped, with tea and coffee facilities, a safe and small fridge. A buffet breakfast, which is fairly adequate, is served in the restaurant decorated in a style reminiscent of the time of Charlemagne. He had established a castle in the town and remains can still be seen today. On the whole the hotel is pleasant but has a sightly old -fashioned look not expected in a modern building.

The location was excellent, within 5 minutes walk from the city centre. The breakfast was great, with a hot selection as well as the usual breads and ham. Staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, although the carpets looked like they could have done with replacing. The restaurant menu sounded good, but was a bit expensive for my budget.

A very nice hotel and we had a room with a view on the water. Superb!!!!!!!!!!
