Ecuador Accommodation

Great hotel two block from the presidential quarters and a block from old town plaza, hotel Patio Andaluz is a gem. Ecuador is a lovely country with beautiful and smiling faces right from the airport ride to hotel employees and anywhere else you go. Hotel Patio Andaluz is a gorgeous boutique hotel with the best concierge service (bilingual Spanish/English staff everywhere). There is no better way to start a trip to South America than in Ecuador, and no better hotel than Patio Andaluz in Quito. The restaurant, with delicious Ecuadorean local fare, is in the hotel foyer and has open skylights that gives the ambience of Moorish design. The interior architecture takes you to a different time in history, full of interesting details you will only find in great building restoration projects. This three storey structure is finely balanced between professionalism and comfort.

Stayed in hotel between plane flights from Quito airport. Arrived 1am, staff alert and helpful. Room was luxurious. Had to leave by 730am. Wish we had more time. This hotel is a winner.

This was my second visit to this hotel and I plan to use it on all returns to Quito. A word about the comfort rating of 4: by U.S. standards it was small with a tiny bathroom. But every thing sparkled and functioned just fine including the high shower head and plenty of hot water. Very good English is spoken by the desk staff.

The hotel has a great location, the staff is helpful, and the facilities are clean and in good condition.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times. The staff is friendly and always willing to accommodate the guest's requests. Rooms are always clean and odor free. The bar may not be the most inviting, but the hotel is located at Mall del Sol which hast its own varied offering. Its proximity to the airport makes it a a great business hotel. I will continue to stay there as long as I continue to visit Guayaquil. Book it with confidence. You will not be dissapointed

I loved this beautiful hotel. I've traveled a lot and Santa Lucia is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed. My room was gorgeous and the service I received was wonderful.

The hotel was very comfortable. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was very good, and the restaurant had a good menu. The location was great, as well. Even at night I felt comfortable walking alone from the main plaza to the hotel.
