"The hospitality at the Waterstone is top notch. We were greeted by Charmaine, who got us settled and made sure everything was taken care of on our arrival. The next morning we had breakfast out in the garden and pool area. Everything was fresh and delicious, in beautiful surroundings. "A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service."

"The most beautiful place I have ever traveled to and stayed at. MacDonald who worked at the residence was kind, soft spoken and informative I can not believe how beautiful 3 On Camps Bay was! "Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay."

"I loved the historical building. The loft rooms were trendy and nicely decorated. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Could have been a bit more attention to detail, like marks on the couch cushions that could have been cleaned off. There is no parking if you come in a vehicle and we had to leave our car in the street which we weren't very happy about. There was a guard there and the car was fine though."
