Perfect end to our trip !

My husband and i were blown away by this beautiful property and Carmen and Michelle treated us like royalty! The location is perfect to walk around and the breakfast omlette was to die for .

Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough

Had an amazing stay in Stellenbosch at the Bonne Esperance hotel. Enjoyed every aspect and will definitely be returning to this same hotel again. Service and food were amazing, location is excellent and the general decor is beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Guest House with the best breakfast.

The breakfast was the best I had in my life. Very kind service, the beds were a bit too hard for my taste. It would be nice to be able to get a softer mattress. If we are going to stay in Stellenbosch again, we will definitely choose to stay here.

This place is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the owners, we were made to feel at home. The grounds are spectacular, the room well equipped, immaculately clean and the staff all amazing. The breakfast is fabulous, with freshly made omelettes, fruit, cereals, toast and meats and cheeses. I highly recommend this place and we hope to come back some day!

Bonne Esperance is just totally amazing!!! We had the tower room and is was SO nice! The staff is super friendly, the location awesome, nice and quiet but very close to restaurants, bars and shops. The breakfast best ever! 10 out of 10!

Convenient and lovely

A lovely room with modern, interesting decor. Everything needed was provided e.g. teas, coffees etc. Reception was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you Breakfast was incredible! All ordered from a menu, but a very wide range of choices, and the ability to have whatever you'd like (French toast is to die for!) Location is brilliant as well - a seven minute walk to all the main restaurants in town! The only complaint is their strict cancellations policy. We had to reshuffle our whole holiday by three days due to my husband's work, and this was the only hotel out of seven across Cape Town and the Garden Route that didn't refund us at all, despite weeks of notice. This was a shame, but the hotel is lovely nonetheless.

Good parking. Easy to walk to The centre and road access to all wineries. Beautiful kept garden. Reminder to book the good restaurants and wineries, since they can be fully booked. Our R, 5 does need refurbishing. It's clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine, the gluten free bread was heavy, need to also offer plain white gluten free bread
