"Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience. "

"The lodges are spotless, spacious, well equipped and very well situated for many attractions. The included in-room breakfast was very generous and varied. Porridge, cereal, fruit yoghurt, croissants with jam and orange juice. Tea and coffee. There is a personal picnic bench outside the door to enjoy it in the sunshine with the birds singing. The pub did great food in a lovely dining room. -it’s perfect and we will come back soon"

"Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available.
