"It is a very cute hotel and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the patio was delightful. It is a walk from the ferry - about 25 minutes uphill so if I was to do it again I would have paid the 15euros to have our luggage brought up (even though it was just carryon)."

Breakfast every morning on our terrace overlooking the sea.Our room was Gorgeous And close to shops and restaurants. We had beautiful orchids placed throughout our room..very well maintained and clean. The staff was always pleasant and beyond helpful! Loved it. Would return in a second!"

"Our stay at the Villa Maria was awesome! If you are looking for a nice quiet place just outside of Almalfi, this is the perfect stay. The hotel hosts are very nice and the rooms were clean. There is lots of good restaurants within walking distance and everyone in the town is very helpful and friendly. "

"Excellent location, 2 minutes from Amalfi Center/Duomo and pier/bus stop area. Despite having a patio right above the pier/bus area, we could hear no noise while in the room! Staff very friendly and helpful. "

"Well, my husband said he would live in our room forever. The view was magical. The location was perfect - so easy to walk into town. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Directions to the hotel from the ferry/bus: walk toward the arched pedestrian crosswalk that takes you into town, but don’t cross the street into town. Turn left at the crosswalk, walk through the tunnel and it’s the first door on the left! Super easy!"

"Luigi and Francesco are excellent hosts. There was nothing we needed that we couldn’t ask them for. They were very attentive and helpful. They provided a car service from the airport to hotel. Our rooms weren’t ready because we arrived very early, they gave us breakfast and suggestions to walk around Positano. When our rooms were ready our bags were in our rooms. The views were stunning! This hotel provided 5 star service! "

"We spent 8 days at this hotel, and had a wonderful time there. Hotel management and his assistant were very friendly, responsive and helpful. Our room had a great view of the ocean and mountain, was very clean and kept up tidy during our stay. We loved the outdoors area, food and drinks were plenty full, and of very high quality. Only few minutes of walk to downtown, fabulous restaurants and shopping areas. Highly recommended, can’t wait to go back there again soon. "

"Had a nice apartment perfectly located near the beach and restaurants. Staff were great and very friendly. Pool was very cold though but you have the beach nearby. Parking is charged at €20 a night for small cars so that's something to take into account however everywhere charges for parking in Amalfi."
