This is a gorgeous location, right on the waterfront. I enjoyed a fine dinner at Volt, right in the hotel lobby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The only drawback for me was having to pay for wifi. I would love to return with enough time to go on the River Walk right by the hotel, and with my passport for a jaunt to Canada, right across the river.
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, clean and had awesome amenities. The pool and fitness area were very nice. There was always several people around to answer our questions or assist us. We had two queen beds in a very spacious room with two teenagers and we were given a rollaway for no extra charge. Hotel is located close to several things to do in the city. Love, love, love the convenience of the People Mover located right in the hotel. We were in town or a Tigers game and took the People mover for .75 to within 2 blocks of the stadium. Awesome hotel!
beautiful historic building right on the river. It took our breath away. Shows it age a bit but the friendly staff and the gorgeous rooms were wonderful. And the location is wonderful. I didn't know Detroit has such beauty.
"Nice Visit to Ford Museum and Greenfield Village"
Enjoyed our stay at the Best Western, very nice accomadations. The meals at the hotel were great. I would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Ford Museum or Greenfield Village to stay at the Best Western in Allen Park.
Thanks we had a great time.
The hotel was very nice. The bed and pillows supplied were very comfortable. A large window from floor to ceiling let in an abundance of light. The room appeared newly furnished. The bathroom was larger than average with a lot of counter top space and nice lighting. I would stay again for sure. The hotel did not have a complimentary breakfast. Room service and costs for breakfast items was a bit pricey.
