9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,001 reviews)
Physical plant: The room is getting old. It's still OK, but for a 5-star hotel, the bathroom is no longer pristine, signs of wear and tear are everywhere. The toilet area is rather badly designed with the door impeding access and egress. My room had a very nice view on the river and Namsan / Seoul Tower. The swimming pool is decent although the water temp was too high.
Location: Quite good as the Yeouido subway station is nearby. The river park and Yeouido park are also within walking distance.
Food: The breakfast is decent, with lots of selections. But some offerings clearly came from frozen stock, like the dumplings. And the fruit selections were good some days, quite poor other days. Service was OK. I was offered refill for my tea only once. The other days, I was given just one cup and that was it. I suppose I could have asked for refills, but in a 5-star hotel, one shouldn't have to do this. The cafe was terrible. I had some cake there one evening with a friend and we both didn't finish it. The Italian restaurant was decent although very expensive for the food it served.
Overall, I would say this is a decent business hotel that works well for all the business people I saw everyday at breakfast. But otherwise, nothing exceptional. I will not return.

A wonderful stay. We stayed on the resort side. The junior suite is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The basement fun zone is great, with video games, ping pong and a pool table. The swimming pools are lovely, don’t forget a swim cap though you can also rent them. The food is good though ...
