City of Caloundra Ski Holidays

If you have small children then this is a great resort. We didn’t go swimming as there were always so many children in the pool and spa. The buffet breakfast was great. I didn’t personally like the other food options that much. Lacked taste and appeared to be mass cooked. Check-in process was easy but getting the suit cases up two lots of stairs was hard as there isn’t a lift and no offer from staff the help us. Courtesy shuttle bus was very convenient and was consistent. Not somewhere I would stay again personally, but for families it is ideal.

We had an amazing stay at Oceans. The view from our room was outstanding , it overlooking the beach and the esplanade which was always a hive of activity, with shops and restaurants directly below. The terrace was huge and undercover which was a bonus in the very hot weather. The apartment was 2 bedrooms and the living area was huge. The kitchen was well equipped, with a Nespresso machine with capsules supplied (you could by extra from reception)and the 2 bathrooms were very spacious, with large showers. There was a great washing machine with washing powder topped up daily, a dryer and drying rack and pegs. The position of Oceans right in the heart of Maloolaba couldn’t be better. Lastly the staff. The blonde lady on reception was absolutely amazing, nothing too much trouble and we had a lovely chat with her. We would highly recommend Oceans to everyone

shops and parks near by.

House and Leisure Centre were very clean. Great ammenities. Outlook to the bush was relaxing.

Very satisfactory, I initially booked the hotel for its proximity to Central Station. The price was right, too.

Fantastic location. Right on the river walk and next to the Botanic Gardens in the CBD. Easy to access lots of restaurants and sites. Included breckfast high quality with lots of choice. Very large room with fantastic view of river and bridges Some slight maintenance issues with the room, leaking shower pan and Brocken current leads.

It was a nice spot for one night. Close to several restaurants. Main issue - lots of construction across the street and next door.
