The location is great and the grounds are beautiful. The water park is a huge asset and kept kids ages 1-12 entertained for 4 days. The food was sadly not as good as it once was, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub area were closed while we were there for maintenance but we still had a good time. Rooms have what you need but our room was near the elevator which was a little noisy.

The whole the whole vibe of the resort. I loved the tropical gardens that framed the lake pool and restaurant area. It just added to a real sense of tranquility. The recreational amenities were fantastic for the children and big kids alike. I’d come back to stay at this resort again in the future.

Check in at 6pm Friday was busy (school holidays) and it's a slow process in itself. Staff were lovely. Parking was very full and about 200m walk to lifts/our room with luggage. Restaurant meal salt n pepper calamari and snitzel were not too bad.

Great location. Good place for people with younger kids as they have the waterpark and other things. The playground was closed for the whole time we were there. Rooms are a good size. The restaurant was OK if you don’t fancy goong far. Really enjoyed our stay.

We loves the Oaks Caloundra, staff are always lovely and helpful plus they have activities over the school holidays. The Happy Hour for adults is a winner for us and we will be keen to return.
