Room was clean and staff was nice.

Issues with getting towels. Bathroom needs ventilation. Pain in Bathroom ceiling is bubbling and peeling.

The room smelled musty. The host is for the restaurant wasn’t exactly friendly. The wait staff in the restaurant in the bar however we’re extremely courteous and friendly. The mattress on one side of the bed had collapsed springs. If you slept close to the edge, it felt like you were going to roll off.

The Romer House Hotel is a smaller hotel located on a busy street near the International Market. The pros: good location to walk around to many stores, restaurants, beach etc. If you're driving, there an many nearby highway entrances. The hotel itself is dated, but there were major upgrades made. They offer valet parking for a fee, which was convenient, considering parking is difficult to find for overnight stays (we were here for 7 days). There is a restaurant and 'bar' on-site. The pool deck is clean, but I thought the pool was too narrow and shallow. Cons: very active and noisy street. AC units were challenging to control and keep running through the night. It was very damp in the bathrooms and the bath towels just wouldn't dry up for every night's wash. Lastly, the rug in both rooms were very dirty. I was not happy seeing my kiddos dirty feet. After the 1st night, we showered every night and wore our flipflops while lounging around the room

The process was very smooth

This hotel's location is beautiful but the physical infrastructure is old and needing to be updated. The rooms are nicely appointed but the exit stairways are corroded and many of the doors do not shut do to corrosion.
