Northwest Seattle Beach Holidays

Call and ask about elevator before booking. We stayed here for a few days before our Alaska cruise so our family could experience Seattle. This hotel came highly recommended because of its proximity to the major tourist attractions and Pier 66. The hotel itself is quaint, charming, and full of historic character. Our suite was clean, and having two bathrooms was a huge plus for our family of five. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was that only one elevator was working during our stay. We were on the 7th floor, and the stairwell was frequently locked, so we often had no choice but to wait for the elevator or walk down multiple flights of stairs. On cruise embarkation day, getting our luggage downstairs was especially frustrating since hotel staff also had to use the same elevator. We also booked a suite advertised for five guests. It included two queen beds and a sofa, but the sofa was not a pull-out sleeper, so that was a bit misleading. The hotel offers a cruise shuttle for $12 per person, but it was very crowded. We ended up taking an Uber instead, which was actually less expensive for our family and much more convenient. The front desk staff were fine, though not particularly memorable. Overall, the location and historic charm are definite strengths, but the elevator situation significantly impacted our stay. Because of that, I don’t think we would choose to stay here again.

Good location, pretty view, friendly staff

We had a super fun three night mother daughter stay at the fairmont. The hotel was top notch! Everything from the room to the gym, pool, lounge, bar and most importantly the staff was amazing. We really appreciated the early check in and reception staff attending to all our needs. The valet and baggage attendants were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning!
