"It’s not your typical hotel experience. Jiangnan House is located in the heart of the Nantou Ancient City, so you experience this contrast of the new and old. The hotel itself is completely open, no indoor corridors, you can see through the whole hotel from top to bottom of each floors. The design is beautiful, it’s very detail oriented and chique. "The apartment itself was new and modern. Very well fitted out but lacked some basics. Great kitchen with fridge dishwashers, etc but no plates, dishes or cutlery. There are no facilities nearby, you need a taxi or walk and use train. A lot of construction around you and tat is the view. It is not close to Shekou, ferry, etc as stated which are a 15 minute taxi ride. Beds have nice linen but are on the hard side."
