"Absolutely the best hotel! The location and views of the Matterhorn were spectacular. The room was beautiful, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had incredible homemade pastries, granolas, and more. We would not stay anywhere else now that we have experienced the Schweizerhof Zermatt!!"

"Loved the large bathroom, TV station choices as there were several English speaking stations to choose from, breakfast choices, and we could even see the Matterhorn from our room when there wasn’t cloud cover. Staff were helpful and friendly, too. Convenient location; relatively close to the train station. "

"Although the property was older, this just added to the charm for us. We could view the Matterhorn from our bedroom window and this hotel was in the best location of the whole of Zermatt. There is no lift, so alot of stairs with heavy cases. But we were aware and didnt mind the extra fitness. Breakfast was included and much appreciated. Would definately stay again."
