"The Nikko hotel chain is legendary. The service is impeccable. Everything about this hotel is 6-star - from the wlecome to the final goodbyes. We had our laundry washed in express time. The buffet breakfast is off the scale - Ainu soup, waffle croissants, fresh mango - more than 100 dishes - and views from the 35th floor over Sapporo and beyond. You could not provide a better service than this. "

And then there’s the onsen (public bath) - separated by gender. Very rewarding experience. Clean and very relaxing. Plan on staying at this chain again whenever I come to Sapporo or Shinjuku…"

"This is the second time we stayed here. Last time 5 years ago. The hotel is convenient for catching the subway. Elevator from sapporo station (exit) 24 is one street light away. We walked underground 90 % of the time. Odori park is on stop away. Susukino is two stops. Underground tunnels get you to pole town or Aurora . Front desk people were excellent and polite. Microwave and washer available. "
