No-one was there to check me in though I arrived before 5 pm. No prior communication from them. And they didn't answer the phone. After waiting for over half an hour I had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Poor service? No service at all!

Comfortable, clean motel with great host. We will definitely go back. The only negative was the small 24" tv, and channel reception was terrible couldn't get the main tv channels 7 and 9.

Lovely motel - easy to access and on the highway but very very little motor noises - next to the Saturday markets which are brilliant - close to several very good eating places -

This property is on the main road yet very quiet at night - hard to hear any road noise - on-site parking - considerate extra touches such as umbrellas put out on a rainy day for guests - clean fresh linen - lovely blankets for cooler nights - plenty of in room touches such as crockery - toaster - microwave - fridge - good walk in shower - Decent sized wardrobe for clothes - right next to a great Swiss restaurant and pizzeria - and right next door on the other side is the easy access to the famous Yungaburra Saturday markets - easy online check in and out -

Ok, but no Amex
Good hotel, the lady on reception was nice, but the owners are too stingy to accept American Express, which is pretty much a standard for travellers.

Absolutely fantastic. After living in hotels for the last couple of weeks. Yungaburra Park is by far one to put on the returning list when holidaying. Very family friendly and clean.

Yay for Yungaburra!
We loved it at the Yungaburra Park Motel - charming inside and out. Very well equipped and located. A short walk to cafes, restaurants, hotels and village services. Yungaburra has a great vibe - rustic charm, art ambience, something for everyone, all ages. And it is only a short drive to lakes and tableland attractions.

Perfect weekend away from Cairns
We stayed for two nights for the tour of the tropics bike race . The hotel was perfect. The owners were super nice and helped us out big time . I will definitely be back . Clean , well equipped , great shower , low price . Super pleased with our stay . Close to pub and restaurant .

The llaundry is located at the Pit Stop Cafe. Just opposite the pub. We are very lucky living in a beautiful spot on the tablelands which is accessible to all your needs. Glad you enjoyed the meals at the pub. They;re pretty good. Regards Debbie

Lovely owners/managers. Very helpful and understanding with a personal crisis. Very clean, tidy rooms and amenities. The showers are the better than I've experienced in other hotel/motels. I would recommend staying here anytime.

Close to the centre of Yungaburra, it was a convenient place to stay. The Hotel was nothing special, our bed was extremely uncomfortable with bed springs popping every time you moved. Dropped my keys behind the bed and was shocked to find a herd of dust bunnies underneath it also found $4.75 in coins under the couch.

Well it looks like you hit the jackpot finding money which would certainly buy you a free coffee. As for the mattresses I am surprised by your comment as we normally don't get complaints. Would have helped if you mentioned which room so we could investigate. The hotel is only rated as 3 stars and good value for money. It is special to us. HiMarion, Being a 3 star motel we are not the most modern but great value for the money. We concentrate on spotless clean rooms with comfort, not what the furniture looks like. very surprised to hear your comments. All our beds are of medium comfort. Not to hard and not to soft for people with back problems. Most people say it is the best night sleep they have had in a long time.Which is pleasing as we always try to make sure our guests get the most out of their stay. As for the T.V. Good location
A good location, backs onto the parkland where the Yungaburra Markets are held. The Markets are held the fourth Saturday of the Month. Can walk to all cafes, restaurants & shops. Close to the start of a really great nature walk around Yungaburra . Rooms are very clean and contain a fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, tea & coffee as well. The rooms are quite large with TV and free wi-fi. Great base to explore the Tablelands with weather being a bit cool still for September.
