"Lovely stay at Yufuin. There is a free pick-up and drop-off options available from JR Yufuin Station which is a must unless you want to walk up crazy hills to get to the property. The room we stayed had traditional tatami mats and plenty of space to lounge around before enjoying hot springs. This property allowed us to book a private bath free of charge, and also the public bath that is open til late which was convenient. There is also free Japanese kimono that you can wear during your stay....

Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. "Everything about staying here was great! I only speak English and Korean and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! Especially the manager at the front desk. I got to meet and have simple conversations with the staff. Even the ones that only speak Japanese. They were all friendly and kind regardless of language barriers. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and onsen were very clean and comfortable. The meals were delicious and well timed. I will definitely be back and I am even thinking about coming back for my honeymoon! "
