"Room was huge as with Ryokan style accommodation and generally clean, What great is the reservation system for onsen so you can have a private slot for yourself/family instead of the usually gender sharing arrangement. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Yunotsubo Kaido and 5 minutes to the train station and Aeon supermart. Unlike some osen town eg. Hakone, there is plenty of food option at night."

"A great little hidden gem in this area - we stayed here as a stopover to our next location. Room was clean and super cozy. Staff was very nice and helpful with us settling in. Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good! "The dinner was very memorable and I would give it 10/10. However, the room we stayed in feels very dated and not very well maintained. There were brown spots on the walls and the beds were not comfortable to sleep in, and the air conditioning is on and off so me and my husband were not able to have a good sleep at night time. We do appreciate the big room and the nice in suite hot spring experience though. Staffs were nice but always really busy so you can feel them rushing through to help you so they can attend to other things after. Overall we enjoyed our stay!"
