"I cannot express what I felt, I was looking for a ryokan to have a nice relaxing moment and I found this ryokan. For the moment I entered my room it was stopless, a nice tatami room, big enough to accomodate 3-4 people. A PERSONAL ONSEN INSIDE YOUR ROOM!!! and overall was the best stay in all my travels to Japan. The hotel is near the 7 hells of Beppu and is easy to find. THE BEST RYOKAN EVER. "

"The staff was excellent and the food/meals were amazing. The seki saba and aji sashimi as well as the bungo beef were delicious and a must try. We really enjoyed that you get to use one of the four onsen for yourself/your party for 1 hour, just make sure you go at the designated time slot and the onsen you chose. There is English intructions to help you use the amenities as well as an explanation of the inn and their areas. The only issue is we found mold growing in the AC which we did use...

"The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our family of three. The two bedrooms, each with two single beds, provided more than enough space for two adults and one child. The kitchen was well equipped with essential cookware, including a rice cooker and microwave, which made it easy for us to prepare meals. The balcony offered a great view and added to the overall experience. The location was also very convenient. Major bathhouses and sightseeing spots were within walking distance,...

"The room was pretty old, but it was well maintained, so OK condition for the 1 night stay. Restaurant and food was great. But onsen was small, and the water was not hot enough. Considering the hotel size, and its location in Betpu area, onsen should be better than that, in my opinion. "
