"The tasting menu and local wine pairing was the highlight of my stay and may also be the highlight of my 3 week trip of Japan. The quality and thoughtfulness of the dishes are complimented superbly by sommelier So-san's wonderful service and exquisite selection of world-class wine.
The room and hotel conditions were good but nothing extraordinary. The main downsides are the poor sound proofing and lack of elevators for those transporting heavy bags."

"We had a lovely stay at SHIKKUI Cottage. The property itself is modest and charmIng and is located on a very steep hill. If you are backpacking without a car like us, make sure you’re ok trekking up and down the mountain with all your gear! "

"Good location. The unit has Japanese tatami room, which was a good experience while staying. There is no reception, but all the necessary stuff was well prepared."

"My wife and i were here for snowboarding, and really enjoyed our stay. The location’s central, has a Seicomart just across the road, petrol station, and a coin laundry within a stone’s throw. And a Coop (supermarket) just down the road aswell.
The bedroom configuration is pretty compressed/tight but that’s not too bad. Everything else is great. "

"Great hotel for visitors of Sapporo! The hotel was very conveniently located outside of Odori station exit 8 or a short 7-10 min walk from the main Sapporo station (you can walk the underground tunnel directly to the hotel or walk on street level). The staff were amazing. Super helpful, always cheery, and very patient. "
"Breakfast has seafood sashimi, very fresh and tasty. Our room is renovated so is new and clean. It's very near the shopping street and many restaurants nearly. The public bath is a bonus though it's not big.
"
"Nice new hotel and sauna + amenities. Love how there’s a family mart at the reception area makes it convenient to just grab food when you’re on the go! Walk to the main Suzukino is not that far, and also close to Sapporo station! The hotel is a reasonable size and found it a little challenging when doing laundry.. although overall, good hotel! "
"All the Staff were so helpful and kind esp the young very tall guy (I forgot to get his name) who exceeded our expectations with extra effort and thoughtful attitude. "
"The hotel is located very centrally - only one block away from the Otaru canal. The immediate area featured tons of dining options. The room was small but very clean and functional. My only very minor complaint is that there is no coffee maker in the room. Everything else was great and I would definitely stay there again. "
